This is fascinating because of the questions from De Welt. The questions reveal the loaded - and generally false - assumptions that the European media narrates to the European users.
It’s the conceited assumptions of the questions that wind me up. The interviewer genuinely seems to assume that nothing in the European Union is ever wrong (“...hope that the Brits might come to their senses and in the end decide not to leave the EU.”)
De Welt has revealed more about its editorial policy than I think it wanted to… and it did so in the English language!
